As a true hat-fiend, I've had my head covered up for most of my life, I'm sure it goes back to something, but who knows what or when. Good thing that's come out of it though, is this obsession over the fit of a hat, there's so many that just don't tick the boxes for me & I figured it was about time I sorted it all out...

The hat you never knew you needed, is here! Designed piece-by-piece & adjusted one-by-one; by a person who’s wore hats for almost every day of their life- this is designed to be the one for me, the one for you & the one for almost everyone else. 

I wanted a 5panel that:

• goes on like a beanie

• adjusts without having to take it off yr head

• has a mid-size peak

• works with helmets

The headband of the hat is handmade to be lightweight/low-profile, with the size easily adjusted using the sliding toggle at the back. The peak is a perfect-middle, between silly cycling cap & yr average baseball cap, typically with a hi-vis upper; to keep you seen, when out on the bike. The front tags of the 5PbyB3 is also usually printed onto reflective fabric for an extra touch of visibility in the evenings.

All panels of the hat are cotton-backed, with all seams taped using cotton tape; to ensure a comfy fit against yr head- all whilst keeping the structure slimline-enough, to fit comfortably under a cycling-helmet, as well!
